My sister has lived in Vancouver and worked in Portland for 30+ years and she said that Oregon does deduct taxes from her check and she does have to file an Oregon tax return but all of the taxes deducted by Oregon are refunded to her once she files her taxes.

Had a friend who drove for TIME back in the day. Lived in Coldwater, MS, ran Memphis to OK city, laid down and come back.
As I understood, he had to pay AR income tax on the income he accumulated crossing AR.
How and who apportioned the trips income?
Which state got the TN and OK portions?
Was nothing due MS, as he earned no income in the state?
Long time ago and he has been dead for several years. I just wondered how some of these are handled now.
As an aside, I was once told a FedEx pilot was taxed by AR on the income he accumulated flying across AR. -
