OK, I posted a previous thread entitled "Tired of the Oilfield" and got some good advice. So, here is part 2 of that. I've narrowed my choices down to three:
1. Maverick - good company, good pay, home on the weekends.
2. Star - don't know anything really about the company but I'd be home every weekend and 1 or 2 days mid-week, running parts for car factories in the South.
3. Schneider - dedicated local run, home every night, about a grand a week.
Which One?
Final Three!

Star sounds good & Schneider 2nd. Reason, would be pressed to get home and take your 10 hours and then ready for next run on time. Then again, Schneider is good because they have so many types of divisions, it would be easy to move to another division if you wanted to.
Secondly, look at benefits; which company, Star or Schneider has best medical & 401K.
If benefits aren't that important, I personally would go with Star if the pay is close to the same.SaintBully Thanks this. -

I'd go with schnieder, hands down. Proven company who is extremely financially stable. Furthermore, a lot of people stick with schnieder as opposed to Maverick and Star.

Thanks for the advice!
ps. Jesus created the world and rose form the dead . . . He has nothing more to prove. -
Sni because of home every night and $1000 a week. You probably won't make that being on the road with Star.

SaintBully : Schneider may be the way to go.
