I took two loads of lumber last week that payed 37.50 a mile last week
10 miles
SHC Thanks this. -
That was a good day.
-
Turns out it's 3.93 a mile for 750 miles. I miscalculated orginally
-
I enjoyed it....they wanted them tarped...flat loads took me 22 minutes each....cant say i minded $375 bucks for less than 2 hours work and 10-15 bucks in fuel.....haha just running around south georgia has it's perks sometimes
-
That load paid good cause it was the lost wheel that fell off another flatbedder hauling a trailer full of railroad wheels.
-
Thats messed up lol -
Lol... Good one! -
Use to haul a lot of train wheels, motors, train trucks, and car bottoms for CSX back in the late 80's when my daughter was born, we were always happy to get a load for CSX, we got .28 a mile as company drivers back then, that was empty or loaded.
JimSHC Thanks this.
