    Wow, really? OD is plucking new grads? Good for them. I have a buddy who wants nothing more than to work for them. He has the experience but each time he contacts them here in Florida they tell him they're not hiring. As far as I know he hasn't filled out an application, just made a few phone calls.

    Thanks I've checked in all those I might have some other things lined up someone made a post about finding local companies and they will hire you if you don't have legit otr experience I called a few places today and they are more than happy to put me on

    Old dominion is taking alotnof their dock guys and teaching them to drove and get their cdl. I have the experience they wanted but they decided dock guys are better bet. See how that works out.

    Seniority can be a #####, well I got myself a job I took a road test for a company and I'm in ready to start this week after I pass my drug test

    U running their road or local? I have a friend that runs road out of Greensboro. He's one who filled me in on why they decided not to hire me. Just wanted to get dock guys a chance. Hate company wasting my time with interview, road test n than decide going to let dock guys get cdl training. Its all good happy where I am.
