After struggling with the 90 degree backing exercise all summer long I finally put that dog to bed.

I spent the few minutes before the examiner came out to meet me to walk the course and map the 90 out and it went perfect. In fact of all three skill sets the backing was where I had the least amount of errors.

I guess it now is time to find a trucking job.

    Time to take a break.

    What's your location?
Paschall Truck Lines and Maverick will hire you if you haven't been to a CDL school. Ozark also might hire you.

    Hi All-
I got my class A 9.24.13 what a relief that is done. But the journey has just begun. Any suggestions for companies in NJ? Local OTR no preference. Just want to keep my new skill set sharp. Thanks everyone.

Watkins Shepard up in Missoula Mt. Has terminals up there! They put you through a 10 Orientation/Boot Camp and put you in a truck! No trainer no mentor just they make darn sure you are prepared to handle a truck! Then they set you sail! They run 48! But you being a west coaster you would run east a little but not much! Give them a call, They will bus you in or you can fl in and they will reimburse you to the amount of the Bus fare! I know a guy from here that flew into Missoula and it cost him $40.00 difference from the bus! And saved him 2 1/2 days on a bus! Well spent $40.00

JD56 You could do well with them, running up and down the east coast running their deliveries, they pay well plus mileage but the stop fees they pay out you can do well, delivering Furniture and carpet! To every little Ma and Pa along the way! Then they will send you to Conover to get your Orientation done!
