Well when you're a Michigander, and you grew up hearing stories of people getting blown off the bridge by the wind.....

I hate those tall narrow bridges myself. I cross them, but I don't like it. The wide ones don't bother me as much, something about the narrow ones though...
Jeck Thanks this. -
Now you made me curious about that bridge. Sure, I'll try it at my first chance.
-
I don't mind bridges all that much. I get the heebie jeebies sometimes, but most are okay.
One day I crossed both bridges at Cairo, IL. US 62 and 51. Wouldn't do it again. Reminded me of those old clinkety clankety rollercoasters at Cedar Point.
Not to mention how narrow they are.
Oh and the Macinac Bridge is 5 miles across. Just FYI.Jeck Thanks this. -
This has been on my bucket list for a long time.My son and I are going to drag a couple of our old tractors out one year and do it.
Feedman Thanks this. -
DougA Thanks this.

The tractor show is next weekend I believe. It is a sight. They take them across the bridge also. That would be a long weird ride.
-
There is also a cool truck show the weekend of the 15 there and they have a parade that goes across the bridge on Saturday night. That is fun to watch but in you have little kids ear plugs are nice. I don't know how some of the trucks can keep enough air with their train horns going. Lots of straight pipes and Jake brakes
