Atlanta to nyc should pay double that to be a decent rate. Time you pay the tolls or run around them. Plus the traffic and cheap rates around the city.

Paper is always heavy, sometimes you gotta be grateful for what you don't get!

Fair rate is probably closer to 2500-2600. It's sure as #### not 1800 though. 2000 is still awful.

Everyone has a different price. Going into nyc,I shoot for a round trip rate. I've been setting empty all day,so far everything is paying $1-1.10 for dry van.

If you're sitting in the NE that's to be expected. Honestly this time of year sucks pretty hard all over. We all huddle up and try to survive until the spot market turns back on in March. Last year was definitely way worse so far.

Most of these I see are for my own educational/research purposes. I don't have a truck yet, so this is my "homework".

I took screenshots for the future reference...but if my boy @BoyWander continues to do his thing i.e. negotiate them up (what he got to lose?...to quote Trump...lol) then he can alay come out a winner (I'm rooting for him)

    10 minutes later... $200 bump

I bet @BoyWander would've bumped them another $1000...he getting good quick
