I don't know why the bill of lading didn't click before, the site provides one when you accept the load.
I have no interest in promoting the site and folks certainly have their notions about it but I will say that in terms of finding loads, it's a 10 minute process to log in, put your origin and destination, and see if any offers appeal to you. If they don't, log off. If they do, click accept and wait for the customer to contact you.
But again, not trying to change anyone's mind and thanks for the insight on why most of y'all avoid using the site.
And yes, that show is pretty ridiculous![]()
Finally got my own truck

If near or in a residential area, wouldn't that be the same as moving companies that go through there? Or just meet 'em at a Walmart or big box store...
Alternate load sources are out there, it sounds like the general opinion in this thread though is everyone has a better source of income and/or see the customer interaction/hoops as a waste of time. -
Imho uship fees are too high for what they do. The also double dip on the fees. Also most people on uship have no way to load a truck. I've hauled maybe 5 pieces of equipment from that site. All were real pos's. Customers had no clue and were no help. To me that site is more headache then anything else!

Don't do Uship. Cargo Depot is much better. That's what i do for a livin. Great to see another driver take the plunge. I'm 27 and got my first rig last year. I was on uship for a while but I got tired of being underbid 1 dollar a mile by 2 rednecks and a 1982 F250
