Right now the whole Midwest is bad though, so dont wait till late afternoon, book it around 10-12, when brokers start calling you.
But starting in September, booking after 2pm, you can get $3 without much hassle. Man, I love WI, its just hard to get in there

Dropping equipment payments and getting own MC brings up the net quite a bit.
Simple numbers. $16000 gross after fuel. Let's say 4k per month for all truck related expenses. 12k x 12 months =144k net profit. I personally have seen tax return of guy netting 180k after all the expenses, but he also lived in the truck just like OP does, with no days off other than restarts and holidays. -

(edit) That statement was more towards others reading the thread, as a bit of side advice. I haven't seen you do anything I wouldn't do, aside from staying with dry van.
