short story i been driving for about 7 months i had some rough time in the trucking business. I got tired of being the guy working for someone else . It was stressing me out being cursed at and being treated like if i was no body. Well i got lucky and i met a guy hauling garbage. I started working with the guy and i liked the job is a dirty job but i was making more money then being over the road. Well my boss he is getting out of the business to retire too his country. He gave me a deal he sold me his W900L with a 3406 cat he had just did a entire overhaul right when i started driving it. He sold me the truck an trailer for 50 thousand is a dump trailer with a walking floor. Its been a month and i been very succesful making over 4 thousand a week and all i waste is about 1000 a week on fuel and 500 on tolls so after all that i have about 3 thousand and change left for me. Im loving the business specially the truck amasing truck.
Finally!! Got my own truck!!!

Congrats. Pay yourself a set amount for a paycheck each week...then tuck the rest away.. for there will be a time its needed. Some owners have the mentality that if they make 2-3k a week, they can spend 2-3k a week, and it just don't work that way. Good luck to you.
