Through quite a few delays, I finally got to take my series of tests for my Class A CDL license. I honestly was getting to think it wouldn't happen.

From what I understand, I did really well :

I got 46 out of 47 on my pre-trip, I got 0 points off on my backing skills and I got 6 points off on my road test.

Good Lord above, am I relieved....also for the record, barring a few issues with trainers and such. I think this is a kick ### company. I got to play hoop today with the boss man, (I covered him). After a week of free $10 allowances for lunch.. I was served a free lunch (all you can eat) by the boss man himself. I was able to talk to him a fair amount today..he makes himself accessible..

From everything I have seen, if you work, you will make money, from a company that seems to care about their employees..this observation was not made because of a basketball game and lunch. It was made from seeing loads and delivery times and observing settlement rates and dispatchers and the overall atmosphere..

I am glad i made this move

    Congratulations on making the grade.

Keep up the good attitude, it will make a difference when your making tight timelines and dealing with those receivers that just don't care what day it is or whether you were early or on time.
