Yes it wiil the longer the tub the better your chances. Hopefully it will have break away bolts and not take the truck. A full frame trailer almost always takes the truck over with it. I have seen them go over on solid flat concrete and not lay over when we were taking bets one would. When it's your turn it's your turn
S.V.Buyck Thanks this. -
Sherrodwore out Thanks this. -
A couple of other things that i haven't seen mentioned yet. Always dis-engage your PTO after you have completed your dump. You don't want to drive down the road while thats engaged. Also make sure you release your tailgate latch before you dump. And when you are getting loaded make sure your tailgate latch is closed.

Hey wore out is that your other truck in pic?

Yes and no. It belonged to my uncle, last new one he bought. Refused to get rid of it when he was forced to retire due to health reasons. Short of is I inherited it when he passed. I don't run it often prob should use it more

as has been said, always try to be level, never in high wind (although they will say don't worry), also DO NOT TRUST THE GUY ON THE GROUND!!! it's not his butt if you hit a wire. get out and check always.
check youtube for videos of end dumps in high wind. you were able to get that job because a lot of guys don't want it.
agree, clean off the apron. used to keep a broom on the side of a quad axle dump for just that.
make sure you have a shovel as well for taking off extra. if you're only loaded a few hundred over you can throw it off quick -
Don't forget to lower the body if driving a straight truck lol, don't know how many times I've seen that.
