Finally Started, found a job to get back driving

I have been out of trucking since 96, but have kept my CDL. I have wanted to get started back into trucking for the last 10 years, I have a great office job but I do not like being stuck in a cubicle. Before just giving up everything that I have I wanted a chance to get a feel of driving and see if I really want to give up my easy office job.
I posted an ad on craigslist saying that I am looking for a driving job on sat and sun. I kept refreshing the ad every week. This went on for 6 months all I got were either scams or folks wanting me to go OTR. I considered going OTR and do my year but instead of doing that I would probably try to go to TMC or Maverick. Any ways a guy sent me an email this Thursday asking if I am interested in driving weekends. I called him Friday. We meet this morning and I worked all day only drive a little bit. Basically I have to haul a waste product to the dump or the owners land depending on weather conditions. It is 6am-6pm and the pay is hourly starting 18 and then 20 once I have show I can do the job. The amount of driving in not alot but at least it is some.
Just wanted to encourage folks to think outside the box and believe good things can happen.
