Financing trucking school, even indentured servitude?

I was going to suggest WIA also, but that can take months to get started. It is government after all.

Are you a vet by any chance? You can get financing that way as well.

while visiting their site, use them as a good example of stuff to look out for
3 months to be a "trainer" think of the "quality" of education, and keep in mind you WILL be running a team operation
you will be on line 3 as the co-driver may be on line 2 or 4

compare to CRETE, which requires 3 YEARS over the road experience and a minimum of 6 months with the company before you can become a TRAINER!!!
This is NOT a team situation, you will be on line 3 as the trainer is on line 4

SAGE "school" is NOT PTDI accredited, although they claim "Many of SAGE's driver training programs meet or exceed Professional Truck Driver Institute (PTDI) standards, which have been nationally recognized as among the best trucking school programs across the country by many carriers."

The Swift program I went through in Portland was PTDI accreditied as well.

Knowing what is said about Swift, what does that say about PTDI? Just askin....

 

I was going to try my hand at a couple of their sample tests when I realized that the correct answers are already given to you (shaded text).

If only it were that simple at the drivers license office

 

Here in Ontario, I submitted my application for government funded training on Friday Sept 9, and was given the approval on Sept 14. I started training at a training centre on October 3, 2 weeks in class and 4 weeks practical training. I am super stoked. Have never sat in a rig, but it definitely is a different kind of career then what I have been used to for the last 10 years.

 

Just had an IITR go past me. (I'm parked, so the wisecracks don't apply.) They have some clean, gussied up rigs. I can't say "nice." It was a Century. But it was clean and had a little chrome dressing it up some. Better than most of the training school rigs I see.

 

When I was studying with them, reading all the wrong answers of the multiple
Choice questions just confused me more. I just wanted to know the correct answer.

To do that submit for your score without answering any questions.you will get a zero% score butt it then highlights the correct answer.
