That's what all gun owners need to do. I know I'll spend my money some other place:

I guess you will be having a big problem finding a place to spend your money.
Many businesses have these exact same rules. In fact, I have worked at one that if found, the person was immediately fired. -
anyone that feels they need to take a gun to work, needs to find another place to work.
-
I doubt it. There's still plenty of places where the owners believe in letting their employees make life's decisions on their own. Any business that doesn't believe that their employees should have the right to defend themselves going to and from work doesn't deserve those employees and certainly doesn't deserve my business.
Maybe you could start a list for us and help us to avoid some of them?
I guess I'll have to honestly admit that I've never been so hard-up for a job that I would work at any place like that. You've got me beat on that one.FriedTater and northstarfire0693 Thank this. -
This isn't about the "need to take a gun to work." This is about employees having the means to protect themselves going to and from work.
Many people live in areas where they find themselves at risk just leaving their home and returning to it after work. Believe it or not, responsible gun owners with CHL's need jobs, too. They should be able to lock those guns in their vehicles at work if they so desire.
Any company that chooses to take away an employee's ability to protect themselves going to and from work is a company that doesn't deserve my business. -
You really have no clue.
I was not hard up. I was working at an accounting office in management and making real good money.
Most office jobs are this way. Almost all truck stops are that way. Don't believe me, send an email to the truckstops and ask them their policy.
You are delivering to many locations that have the policies in their handbooks. Of course you would not know this.
Seems to be an immature problem if you ask me.
But, you have the right to do as you want, but you will have a large list of places you will be avoiding. -
Do you REALLY want a Pilot employee to have access to a gun ???
-
if you go to gunlaws.com, you will find that this goes against our rights, even though it is most employee handbooks, rules, etc, they are taking away our constitutional right. I may not have quoted this right but check out the website, its pretty informative and if i'm wrong.. shoot me

Just why is it against your rights?
Or are you saying that the owner of the business or property owner has a lower right than you do? -
now thats a good idea---leave your gun in the car ,so when some 12 yr old steals the car he is now an armed thief
