Leonard's Express has been increasing it's presence in the NW. They bought out Holman in Caldwell, Idaho earlier this year.

I hit both the Seattle and Portland areas pretty regular and I live in Central Florida. It's where I like to run.

I actually looked into this a while back but decided against it because I don't want to be locked into a repayment contract. What are the chances that I could go to a private school and then get hired by Yellow? From the little info, I've been able to find is that people say it's less likely because these companies generally like to hire their own trainees.

If you have completed a 160 hr. school and have the endorsements required and the company needs drivers, you'll be hired.

Agreed. Not only that, but there’s other LTL companies that pay better and hire new-grads. It’s a buffet for driver opportunities out here.
