If I had one truck(reefer trailer), own authority, and am based out of little rock, with three sets of team drivers rotating trips, the goal is to keep the truck rolling pretty much 24/24, 7 days a week, pretty much no empty backloads, average at least $2/mile, and setting it up to where each team is back in little rock every two to six days for the next team of drivers to go out. Can that be accomplished by just using the load boards? Or if not, anyone have any ideas how this could be accomplished?

Plain and simple NO. You not going to average $2/mile off load boards more like $1.60-$1.70 average at best. And three sets of team drivers unless you are paying them really good no one wants a job they only work one week a month. And six different drivers on a truck raises you maintenance cost because chances are one of them gonna have that it aint my truck attitude and I only have a week to work I need to make all the money I can so I am not gonna stop and get it fixed no matter how loud its knocking

Is there an echo in here?

I think it will work. First buy a truck that won't break down, then make sure you have drivers that will drive it like they own it. The next step is to only pull freight for companies that pay in 7 days or less and whose mileage rate is upwards of $3.00 mile.
Shouldn't be a problem.

...and then turn me on to those companies!
