Most new customers I get these days are all referrals from previous or existing customers.
I'm in a niche market, so not a lot of people to choose from.

 

I thought it was just me. Every 8:00 AM I get a bang on the truck door, telling me there is a good load and a lot of money, just have to follow them to the docks! Few times two company fought over my truck, this was today in Miami, FL.

 

You start as many new threads as you can before the moderators catch on and ask in as many ways possible, "what are the rates for going here to here" followed by "who do you call to get those loads from?"

 

I deal directly with the brokers my company dispatches me on, several know me by name, when the time comes those will be some of the first calls I make.
