All the big mulit-billion dollar a year company's rely on recruiters almost exclusively to keep there business running. No recruiters and the billion dollar trucking company goes bankrupt in a relatively short amount of time. These recruiters you see at crengland, werner, crst, ets. are the best money can buy. These company's cant risk hiring anyone of lesser statue than the best.
The recruiters are like the navy seals of used car salesmen. The best, of the best, of the very very best, in lying and deceiving people. They have telling people what they want to hear, and how they want to hear it in the most believable fashion possible almost down to an exact science. And regardless of how bright a person is once they listen to a recruiter of such statue babble for a couple hours, its almost futile for a person not to become prey for them. -

And they get paid to lie ... Most companies give these folks a orientation bonus meaning if they tell you a good enough story and paint the pretty picture . You buy the line . They get paid plain and simple
Lots of these Billion Dollar Companies also rely on govt assistance and get paid for each new driver they hire .... It's called
" JOB CREATION "
They ( the recruiter ) sells the LIE
The COMPANY gets paid by the FED forCREATING a new JOB
The COMPANY then pays the RECRUITER for selling the good line hence the LIE
YOU ( the driver) get stuck with accepting the LIE or moving on... To the next LIAR ( recruiter)
Hence the cycle ....
THEY ( the company ) do not want you to stay
TURNOVER is good for them if you can believe it ... But it's true
1. They get FED dollars ( per head they hire)
2. The FED can show job growth and jobless claims decreases
The cycle continues ...... -

Finding honest drivers !!!!! -
Almost all trucking companys require, clean dmv records, verifiable job history and previous residence for I forgot how long maby it is 5 years back, no felony convictions. Ets.
Almost all drivers are honest hardworking people. There are a few bad ones out there, and they tend to grab a lot more media attention than the other 99.9999% of honest drivers who perform there job well, but the media never hears or talks about them (what is there in an honest driver for media to talk about?)123456 Thanks this. -
