no, but i just sat at the wal-mart in san angelo this past week-end.
-
Which one? Were you delivering or just killing time?
-
Only once and it was only single finger don't remember for sure if it was index or thumb, but it was on a pharmaceutical load. I also had to let them make copies of my ID and when delivering I had to scan my ID into this box to get into the facility.
-
Yes
On some serious hazmat loads. -
How about for a load of Redbull?
-
I stayed in a holiday inn last night.
-
Yep, been fingerprinted to haul a load of redbull. Pretty silly really but whatever.
-
picking up money once at a mint .they took pictures and finger print me.
-
Yep ... and as Land Shark said we are really all fingerprinted for Hazmat loads, as well as anything that requires a TWIC card.
I would say needing safety training to be allowed on a shipper / receives site is more noteworthy. Like the short MSHA video to be allowed on mines when all you are doing is driving a van trailer on a nice road to a dock no where near heavy equipment or mining operations.
Ever been required to have a HAZWOPER 40 Cert and some serious site specific training that included the phrase "When in this zone, if you hear this warning sound *insert sound*, hold your breath and run to a safety station and immediately don an SCBA"?
