Well, I passed my backing skills and other course work here in Millington. It was not easy! I totally underestimated the skills needed. My first day doing "90 degree, offset and blind side parallel was toughand stressful. lol. I got discouraged but as the next couple of days progressed, so did my skills. Now, I am putting that tractor/trailer in the hole! I leave tomorrow for home, and start road training in Columbus on 3/20. Have to wait a few days due to "overcrowding." I can relax for a couple of days, then back to Columbus. Today was only the second day we had sunshine in the past two weeks. Rain and cold all through the time here. I consider it "environmental training."![]()

Congrats Buckeye, if you are still going flatbed you will like Don in Gary, he is the flatbed instructor there, he is very good to work with he will teach you everything you need to know, I thought I knew alot about flatbedding before I got there from being around it for so long but he is very good at what he does, he definitely showed me a few better ways of using my securements.

Congratulations!!! I remember the great weight lifted off of me when I finally got out of there. Now that you are out of that training, the real training begins
Just have fun with it and you will do fine. Do not get flustered easily.
