You do have a CB don't you?If not get one. When I first started the cb got me out of a lot of situations. Now I don't need it.The QUALCOMM can be intimidating so start getting familiar with that.Have a cheat sheet with you.Go meet and talk with your dispatcher. You're going to be nervous for awhile its natural.

I was backing into a door in Dallas one day. I knew the truck on my right (blind side) was parked over my line. So I backed up as far as I could safely, was getting out to check it out, when someone came on the radio and said "You got it cleared. Come on back"... So I did. Right into that truck. Turns out, the guy on the CB, as at a different warehouse close to where I was. And just happened to be helping another driver back in..... It was my fault. All my fault. I should've looked anyways...

It happens, thats' why its important to not trust the judgement of the person signaling you.One time at a very tight paper factory you know the ones that have bundles of newspaper all over making it into an obsitcle course designed for straight trks.Their scale was equally hard to get onto.Had to wigh my mt then weighed it loaded, hated every second of it.Anyway a guy was signaling my to keep moving forward but he failed to see the railing I would have hit and went off the scale had I didn't notice it.I use to go there once a week and hated it.I liked all the staff just not the lot dock or scale.
