I keep mine in the same shoebox next to the passenger seat with my fuel receipts....if I am stopped I immediately tell the officer where and what it is and that its loaded....its not in a locked box and my ammo is not seperate....I have done this for years and have never had a problem....Illinois told me once to seperate the ammo then he said....now what sense does that make .... I did my job by telling you...have a good day
