You left the important part out of the quote. we have too many child like people driving trucks now, so I don't want the idiots in our profession getting pissed off like the do on the CB and taking it to the parking lot of a truck stop, shooting up the place and maybe hurting or killing one of us in our sleeper or sitting in our seat. I've seen some nasty stupid fights in truck stops and if either of these idiots had a gun, they would have used it without hesitation.

Fears got nothing to do with. Do you no longer wear your seatbelt? Did you get rid of the fire extinguisher in your kitchen? Same thing in my book.

Not necessarily. Keith Richards recently unslung his guitar onstage to beat down a fan that had jumped on stage, then reslung it, found it was still in tune and kept playing. Pretty funny if you want to watch:

I have to disagree slightly with the way this is worded. Keeping private stuff private, "having something to hide", isn't a crime unless that stuff itself is criminal activity.

I was once asked in a traffic stop, in my car, if I wanted to give consent to a search, and I declined. Officer asked me if I had something to hide, and I said "Sure, I have plenty to hide, but none of it is illegal".
