Find a small company that doesn’t check DAC and keep your eyes wide open. When you do get back in a semi use all your available spare time practicing backing. Most truck stops during the day have lots of room for practice.

I’ve gotten people jobs with much more problems than you’ve had. The thing is, if you don’t learn from your mistakes and adjust, your next incident could be a fatality.

Spend time at the loading docks watching how other drivers setup and back instead of watching tv in the sleeper.

I’m guessing that your mvr is clean as well as your psp. If so, don’t volunteer info that could sink your ship..

Scraping a trailer surely isn’t career ending.

Go back to working in whatever field you were in before. Give it a year or two and then sign on with a Mega. It will suck for awhile but at least you’ll get decent training. Second chance jobs aren’t the answer. Whatever job you had before will pay better than most second chance outfits.

I don't disagree. Maybe for a reputable company, the OP could be out of luck. Luckily, there are other options that can give her another opportunity to hone her skills and clean up her record some. It may have to be a 1099 gig. It could be a small company that flies under the radar. It may even be a sector of trucking that's different from pulling boxes. I think it will be difficult, but I don't think she's done. I could be wrong though.

Hi there. I'm a newbie also. I've not been picked up and just wanted to weigh in and say keep your head up! You are living what so many of us new grads fear happening, so I hope that some OG's will chime in with sage advice and wisdom, as opposed to any negative shenanigans. 73 companies is a lot! I certainly hope there is someone out there who can allow you to explain yourself, train you even further over the eleven months you've had and give you a shot to be the best trucker you can be- along with quite the testimony ! Good luck Trucker.
