Me: truck driver
Abe: fat steering wheel holder
any questions?

I agree he fell short of doing his job and making the video was the wrong thing to do.

Out of morbid curiosity I just looked up his youtube channel. He's back trucking.........hauling frac sand in PA from what little I watched.
I think he would SHAVE........change his name, and never appear on youtube again after all that............attention w hore!!! LOL -
I'll tell you this, dogtrucker. Your job satisfaction will be far higher going into a specialized field with someone like Keen. If you're happy being a door-slamming cog in the machine, stick with a box, but the challenge of doing something specialized keeps things fresh.
Good luck to ya!MJ1657 Thanks this. -
Well, the die is cast but I can always change my mind. And, really they offered me a pretty good job. Keen, even though they would pay me less in the short term would be better career progress but I am not up for the extra stress right now. I felt better, after this shock and upset, getting back in with something I already have full knowledge and confidence to do. 'Guess I'm getting conservative in my old age.

You drank, and there was ANY question about your whereabouts, your status, or your responsibility to the truck. That's not off duty, no matter what your Qualcomm says. If there wasn't a question about it, or you knew how to be responsible for yourself, you wouldn't be in this situation, and you wouldn't be here crying about it. It's on you. I don't care how much you wish it was THIER fault.
If you can't help yourself from drinking at times, then drink ONLY AT HOME, on HOME TIME, when there isn't any question or argument about your status, and even then, at least 8, maybe 12 hours before you have to go on duty, and no where else, ever. This isn't rocket science dude. If you're someone who needs to drink, you don't belong in the industry. Tough ######. Grow up, handle your "needs" or get a job at a call center for a credit card company, or a Jiffy Lube. Stop whining about your inability to distinguish right from wrong like it's someone ELSE'S fault. It's yours. YOU screwed up. Try Western Express. They could care less, and it shows. No less that 20 WE drivers drinking in the hallways, and in at the pool at the Ontario Red Roof Inn proved that. No respect for themselves, or the industry. Get out of a truck and stay out. Don't like what I have to tell you? It's ok. I don't like guys like you either, unless they know enough to stay out of a truck. It's called STUPID.joseph1135 and Tonythetruckerdude Thank this. -
Wow, that is quite an unpleasant message. BTW, I got a much better job now - thanks for your kind interest, Christian brother.
Now have the last word. Self righteous hypocrites always need the last word.ramblingman, OPUS 7 and Hammer166 Thank this. -
