Not all carriers check those sites so it’s not the end of the world for you.
Try Paul Transportation, they hired me out of Melbourne, FL and fresh out of school.
With 5 weeks at Cypress, it’s kind of hard to leave it off your resume. Just would create a new problem..work history gap.
Just say you left “junk equipment” it’s truthful in a way. Would definitely turn the tables on pettiness.
Remember, it’s only truck driving.Moon_beam, nextgentrucker and jaws2003 Thank this. -
Go back to U.S. Express. Just tell them you made a mistake leaving them so soon, which i think you did..1 year experience is paramount.

The issue i had with US Xpress was that their trucks kept breaking down on me. I went through 7 trucks. Then on the last truck I had with them they were dragging their feet in putting me in a new one.77fib77, Concorde and nextgentrucker Thank this.

Let us know what's on there.
We'll find a driving job for you after we know what's on that report.nextgentrucker and jaws2003 Thank this. -
After you receive the DAC report, you can adjust your applications to reflect that and do it in your favor.
Be sure to submit applications from each website before any phone calls. You can call a couple days later, after submitting the application. Call and say, "I'm checking on my driving job application."silverspur, nextgentrucker, jaws2003 and 1 other person Thank this. -
If some of the job rejections were based on phone calls alone, then just apply online and maybe get a positive result.
State to other companies you just weren't a good fit for flatbed trucking and think reefers & dry vans is what you really prefer.Last edited: Jul 16, 2025
