It doesn’t really seem like you were fired, more of a “not a good fit for the job”, take some comfort in that, it’s not like you did something stupid you just didn’t catch on quick enough and that’s ok, a good trainer doesn’t turn someone out that they don’t have confidence in, doesn’t make you a bad driver, maybe just not the best flatbed candidate. Tallahassee is a tough area, but like mentioned earlier look at Wiley Sanders, nice equipment and many different divisions. Explain to them, if need be, that you weren’t fired due to negligence, you simply weren’t catching on quick enough to have what it takes to be a flatbedder.

 

No one seems to have mentioned that right now we are in a carriers employment market and hiring is slow for those who need work. Some are lucky while others can’t find work. It is a crap shoot right now for people without experience or are lazy and want to be a steering wheel holder.
