Fired on day 2 of a new job?!?!?

They either have the right mindset or they don't .

We also paid percentage, plus detention, plus breakdown, plus... I had one driver make over $15,000 in one month and he still complained. But, he was a chronic complainer and never happy. Of course he contacted me several times after we let him go to see if he could come back to "the best job he ever had."

 

You mean people make that kind of money trucking?

 

LMAO---We've got a couple of guys at our place--probably making 75k+---and whine like school boyz 24/7---course if you told them to stay home and paid them anyway---they'd cry they had to walk to the mailbox for their check----lol

 

The guys I get a kick out of on this forum are the one's that have opinions about everything trucking. Then you find out they have never been a trucker, or just thinking about becoming a trucker, or are only in truck driving school.

I'd definitely complain about that. It's 8 miles from my house to my mailbox...and then 8 miles back to the house. Nothing in that box is worth walking 16 miles to get.

 

When did he say I havta go to court? Before unplugging the ELD or after?

I don't have a problem with anyone needing court time, I'll help drive them there HA... (Been there myself...)

It edges closer to one of the most basic promises when I hire on with someone, You tell me the truth and I'll do the same. Any omission or lying creates big time problems in this situation.

 

I have complaining to a art. But if I was making noises while working It's a happy time.

Now if there is roaring with profanity etc we have a PROBLEM lol. ha ha.

15000 should be able to buy many french vanilla coffees with cream to quiet the noisiest complainer...
