I get a call on Sunday from the newbie load planner's helper telling me my loads for Monday. F yes I will spend 27 seconds on my phone, with free unlimited data, to confirm what he told me for appt times is correct, to continue my 100% on time rating.
As opposed to driving over to the truck, starting it, waiting 5 or more minutes for the qualcom to boot and some more time for the trips to download. That is close to a half hour of my day off...
e.g.
the time another was to deliver "a Dolly Motto load at 4am." Which was actually Del Monte'
or the time a driver was told "deliver to Atlantis at 8am!"

Why don't you go for work for ABF? Even though the benefits out of local 401 totally suck if you ever decided to relocate to Carlisle Pennsylvania the benefits are much better down that way. Even Old Dominion would be a decent company to work for Out of Pittston.

Sounds like a Bolus driver in the making. Really? In this day and age to answer the phone for work is unacceptable?
Did you just lose the job out of Jessup?Lepton1 Thanks this. -
I'm not saying one way or the other.
But. I want to know why its so hard for this generation to answer the phone? Pick up the #### phone already, wait, its already in your hand. Answer the phone like an adult.Lepton1 Thanks this. -

or if it was a company issued phone. -
I could kill one of the office workers with my phone and my company wouldn't fire me , but when they want to cut some dead weight they will use any excuse.
