I have a friend now driving for an affiliate, and he is going to lease a 2007 International 9900i with a Cat - I believe. He just started talking to the terminal about it, so when I know more I will let you know. Also Firespock is lease purchasing from his affiliate.

Well, just
Well, I did flatbed as well, before pulling containers. Rates fell of a cliff last year. Sure you can still find a great load here and there, but if I can't average 5K after fuel on a weekly basis, I see no reason to be doing flatbed OTR....seems these guys (tanker yankers) are still averaging north of that....
I love flatbed, but until it's worth it for ME, I'm staying put....but if tanker is paying good, well, go where the $$$ is. -
I believe a premium is all in the eye of the beholder. My dad once told me, "it doesn't matter how much I pay for something, or how much I make on selling something. What matters is if I am happy with the deal." I use that with other things in life also. I'll keep you guys updated and everyone can decide what is premium to themselves. I think what you have going on is premium also. Your home almost every night and are making good money
So keep rockin it RERM
RERM Thanks this. -

How long is a typical load/unload? How many runs per pay period? 3 to 4?
-
It just depends on where you are going I've had some week's just 1 load. It depends on where from/ to.
