I have a load here in SpringMo going to Holtom City TX. Delivers tomorrow morning at 0800.

No parking there and no close truck stops within 2 miles of it. If I roll now I'd have to stop and I wouldn't have enough time to take a 10 before delivery.

    I could split I think?

Can't wait until tonight to leave because I have to drop my trailer in Dallas after. Then bobtail home.

    Any input?

I'm showing roughly 440 miles depending on the exact addresses. If the loads ready now I'd get trucking and get as close as you can get. That's only an 8 hour trip at 55mph average.

Can you call the receiver?? Call and see if they can take it tonight? If you can get unloaded tonight, go to take your ten, you could start tomorrow with a fresh 11/14.

Looks like about 440 miles or 8 hours driving time. It is 10 am central there now. Delivery is at 8am. You have 22 hours. Knock off 10 for your 10 hour and you have a 12 your window to move a good distance down the road and find somewhere to take your 10 hour. Wake up fresh 14 deliver load go to Dallas.

The load is ready to go right now right? As in already loaded no delay in time to hit the road?

Ahh. I still remember my first load. Great feeling getting it. Even better feeling receiving the signed Bol at the receiver.

Google satellite the address. Chances are you can see a truck parked somewhere nearby on a side street.

The bad thing is trying to get into a truck stop late at night, most of them will be full I bet. Pilot, is about 12.2 miles away, depending on where you are actually going to deliver. 2400 Alliance Gateway Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76177, I 35W, exit 65

Bid D Travel Stop is on 300 N Loop 12, Irving, TX 75061, is about 23 miles away
It is a pay truckstop, not sure if the showers are worth it. supposed to have 100 parking places

If you go down 69/75, Indian Nation roads, then it is a little shorter. Lot of roads are toll roads.

If you can get off the clock by 9 pm tonight, you would have enough time to do a 10 and have an hour to get there. Traffic though is the problem.

I get lost on the 8's, but, on this I believe drive till 4 pm, sleep till midnight. You should have enough time then to drive 4 and be there hopefully or otherwise you may have to take the 2hr break and finish driving.

Do you have a log department to check with.
