doesnt your test light work?
should be an easy problem to fis or at least diagnose
either you are getting voltage from your key to the starter soleniod or you arnt -
all i know is that my initial observation was just confirmed by the swift shop mechanic that showed up and got me started. On-road never bothered to let him know that after sitting for 6 hrs in 25 degree temps, that i'd have no air in my tanks. but then again, the mech. should have known that. So he crawled under the truck, and took out a screwdriver and stuck it in, and manually cranked the flywheel to get the starter pinion to disengage. he turned it, and presto...the truck fired right up.
it is a problem with the starter, or an issue with the flywheel not letting the pinion go. i'm still going with the starter. either way, the truck is getting fixed.....swift is going to find another T660 to replace this one, or i'm done.......how do u like that.scottied67 Thanks this. -

Very hand 'lil device - you can find them at most of the hardware places, RadioShack - think I've seen them occasionally at truckstops.
Hook the ground lead to the frame, and it lights up when you have a point that's hot.
