Hey its your money, but when dealing with warranty, you have to be ruthless and think in the same manor as they do!

If I was you I'd ask for the starter just so they can't turn it in as warranty work and get paid double. Plus KW will turn it back in to whoever made it and get a free starter at you expense.

Yeah that will fix all his problems. Like paying over 300 bucks for a battery he didn't need.... His problem is ignoring. He put common sense on ignore, might as well put all other info there as well...:biggrin_25523:

oh yeah, i'm getting the starter back. and i'll ask them to point out the 'damage' to the starter/solenoid. and if i dont see any damage, i'll be calling their manager monday morning. again, like that will do any good. but they claim there was damage, there had better be some.....

Sorry DICK. I have 12 yrs experience driving professionally. Ranging from Limo's to flat beds and van trucks.
I may not know about Semis, but the fact of the matter is I drive professionally as a truck driver. I throw straps in all kinds of weather. I regularly have loads that you would be scared to try and secure.

If you're getting a "reman" starter put on at KW, they won't give you back the old starter unless you are willing to pay the core charge. If you're getting a new starter there is no core charge.

    jbatmick and Les2 Thank this.
