because wet behind the ear non drivers are skeered
you think they do it out of the goodness of their heart
thousands of trucks everyday go across GWB you think they all get hazardous duty pay?
reality is small percentage of carriers probably offer it
Prime pays .05 more for the whole North East is it all terrible
or can drivers just not get enough miles to pay running there constantly
First NYC run. What to expect?

So you would rather sit for 2 hours then go 40 miles out of route?
Do the math -
experienced driver carriers offer it too
-
you could take 287 to 87 south but that can be a nightmare too

I dunno, I'd rather run the Cross Bronx than 495 around Washington DC. Cross Bronx is only a few miles. 495 is forever.....

It's all a matter of opinion, I suppose. My personal thought is that I'd rather cross the GW than drive on the beltway around DC. But I'd do Chicago before the GW, just a preference.

That's one of the biggest BS stories out there. You run over a car in NYC, and you'll pay for it.
