usx begged me to do two loads to Brooklyn to Jetro Cash and carry.
I said I will get back to you on the answer. I researched that its only 1/4 mile off i278 and easy off/on.
Like Tucker said you have to prepare in advance, and thats why drivers mess up, they don't prepare.
First NYC run. What to expect?

@KMac I drive in little Chicago daily. No one here said anything about being scared.

You brought up traffic, you also mentioned driving through other cities at rush hour. The question would be have you delivered downtown I. Those cities, that would be equivalent, otherswise you are only talking about traffic.
Tight turns are tight turns, city driving skills, exactly what I was talking about.
Parking? Again not unique to NY... LA, SF Chi, downtown parking is rare, mostly street parking truck stops tend to be on the outskirts.
Like I said, if you are afraid, you are doing the right thing by staying out, but there is no need to pass that fear onto someone who isakimg their first trip in there.
City driving is a skill set. Anybody can develop it.Last edited: Nov 17, 2015

L.A is worse than NYC. You can hardly go anywhere in that traffic accident quagmire.
