First NYC run. What to expect?

congestion is not the same everywhere.
A George Washington Bridge is not everywhere for one example.
Age has nothing to do with having common sense

 

Brent Spencer Bridge (I-71/75) going into Cincinnati OH from KY can be just as bad as the GWB.

 

sure and LA sucks too.
but not everywhere is the same

 

And the GWB is totally avoidable.

 

I was driving in NYC 4 nights a week to the Fish Market in 1980
you are better being quiet and not looking stupid

 

sure if you go out of route and have unpaid miles but even bad doesn't guarantee you won't deal with crap another way in

 

to perpetuate the myth of NYC being this big scary place
is just wrong makes people believe it that havn't even been there
congestion is congestion
5 miles or 25 miles
Atlanta Dallas Chicago LA all are bad
you want real diffuculty try Lynn Mass backing into buildings designed for 16 foot box trucks

 

which proves what exactly? that you went from super trucker NYC driving to driver mill TransAm.
Something went mighty there wrong there didn't it.
NYC is the only city I know of carriers pay extra to go into and offer no forced dispatch. If it didn't suck that bad that wouldn't be the case. end of story.

 

if you really paid attention you would know I ran fishing boats
for 35 years in the middle
East river isn't all that scary either

 

answer me this... if NYC is just like every other city how come carriers offer extra pay to go into there and offer no forced dispatch?
