I am 9' wide, legal length, height and weight but I am required to have an oversize banner on my truck with the flashing light on top. Can I drive through Arkansas at night? I have to be in Dallas by 0800 but am in Little Rock and can't leave here until about 1700. Which will be cutting it close. I can drive through Texas at night.
Thank you.
First oversized load. Arkansas question.

Your permit doesn't say?
-
Signs required, no light needed, sunrise to sunset only in AR
zenaddler Thanks this. -
Not a half hour before or after either.
-
They are right. They got a friend of mine while back with an empty 9 wide RGN trailer. He has to permit it to move it. Also can't move except sunrise to sunset
-
TX allows movement after dark under 12 wide but if AR says no better get outta the sate b4 dark or find a place to hold up for the night
-
No, the permit doesn't say. You'd think it would, huh?

Then your missing a provisions sheet. -

And it's information like this that confuses folks who know no better. Unless it's changed recently, night time movement is allowed UP TO 10' wide or 100' long, on the interstate only in Texas. Overweight only continuous.
