    Your uncle is right, all the more reason to keep your CDL clean, it's your future !! You have a good plan in place, keep your eye on the prize, whatever it is. Keep saving, debt free is an awesome power. If you can as soon as you start Carter, try and put the max contributions into your 401k. If you do this from the get go, you will get used to paying yourself first and not missing that money going out before you see it. Then you can rest a little easier knowing you will have a decent retirement (hopefully). It is such a shame to wake up one day and realize you can never retire, because you didn't save, or have to live on a fixed income and decide whether to buy medication or eat. Now that would suck !!!!!

    I would look at the smaller towns and cities. research city-data.com I like Alexandria got friends that live there (its in northern Madison county) cops can be real pricks until they get to know who you are, they are probably like that to keep outsiders away.
