I would get yourself a couple of mudflaps with Yosemite Sam holding a pistol in each hand with "Back Off" printed below.

He was probably just snorting or injecting some drugs or maybe even rolling himself a hooter and using your TT for cover on one side. Hence the lights on for a bit.

BTW, this is the first time I have ever heard of a TT driver being intimidated by a 4 wheeler following them. Even if a 4 wheeler was following you, who cares? You got a lot of skeletons in your closet or something?

They might have thought he had a high value load and they were waiting to see if he had any cover cars.

I think we used the term "Good Buddies" for those guys! Some of them could get pretty creative in letting you know what they were after!

I didn't look, I just saw through my peripheral vision. Either tan full body outfit or naked. I didn't bother looking at the driver.

Like I said to much time on people's hands

I would have assumed something was wrong with the truck/trailer, and stopped at the next place I could pull over. My level of paranoia is very low.

Yep. Sounds like a good buddy. A four wheeler usually doesn’t know enough about a truck to figure out if something’s wrong, so I sure as hell ain’t pulling over. And if he was a high jacker, he wouldn’t turn on the interior lights, because you would put him on a field trip. Just a good buddy looking for some beef.

BTW, turning your hazards ON probably signified that you were turned on. Thus, he thought you were interested in playing the flute. He probably haunts that section of road and the cops have heard about him from others. Good buddies will normally haunt a certain section of road or a pickle park.

Learned more new phrases today, than in the past year.

Thanks for the info, I had the mentality that the driver was someone who wanted to cause trouble.

What to do to send the message that we are not interested?

Ignore em. Most of them don’t want any trouble unless they are grouped up in a pickle park.
