First time buyer need Advise on Cummins isx15

    Is cummins isx15 a good motor built in 2015. I did have cummins run the Serial number to see if there was any work done, Turbo and oil gasket were replaced. Does anyone know if there will be big issues later on?

    Truck is 2016 T680(357000 miles)

    I have one in a 15 T680, Have 668k on it, Haven't had any major issues yet. The cleaner you keep the motor and EGR system the better chance you have of getting a long life out off it. I would start with getting the overhead set, Then this Diesel Force Comprehensive Maintenance System, Then use this to to keep the soot down, Max Mileage, I also have an OPS oil bypass system to keep the oil clean. Good Luck
