    Whoa.

If the truck is older than 5 years, I hope he got a new whole new factory engine for that much coin.

Ive been reading some of these treads,
for me , being an O/O, it seems to be a
    7 day a week job,
I do as much as I can when it comes to repairs/maint.
I have a refrigeration background and I'm completely tooled up to do so,
so the a/c and reefer repairs are a breeze.

I try to really stay on top of stuff to keep breakdowns to a minimum,
but about 2 months ago the
"lighting control module " failed, had to get the Volvo shop to replace it due to it needing programming w/Volvo software,
sucked to be me on that day!

Still, I would rather have the 80 plus hour weeks to haul what I want , when I want,

My wife would agree to me quitting , rather than a dispatcher tell me I have to stay out 5 weeks or longer.

Oh, how lucky for them that their flawed product failed and you had to specifically pay them to fix it.

Why don't we all get together and send Hanadarko our Tempurpedic samples? JK! It sounds like you've got a good plan going bro, best of luck to you! Until you're up and running at least wifey knows you're outside with your mistress!:biggrin_2559:

Found out about a month later as to "maybe" why it failed,
the battery voltage was dropping below 13.2 volts during driving due to 2 bad battery's,
    dash voltage showed 14.1 volts,
found the battery's were bad when I got them put on a "Load Test" at a commecial battery wholesaler.
    I replaced all four,
(w/1300 amp CCA each) and have not had any other problems.
