you don't need a Michigan address, this state isn't one where you have to be a resident.
The dealer will walk you through everything, if you want an "instant" title, then that's up to you but LS will accept an application for a title (which is the legal document that says the dealer is applying for one) and the bill of sale as 'old man' mentioned.
Michigan's "rolling stock" exemption for the "use tax" (it can't be called a sales tax here) needs the MC number or a contract to be used, If you are with LS, they have a single page that they give to you that you signed and you use that for tags (if you are getting them yourself) and you use that for the exemption with the state, again the dealer can do that for you.
