First Truck Volvo 770?

I had a 2006 670 d13 just about 900000 no major work done to it was a good truck.

Get it, its an awesome truck, I have one. I would say for another 200-300k miles you won't need to do any major repairs. Even then engine overhaul would be 10k, transmission 4k, clutch 2k, rear ends 5k. Parts are everywhere and anybody can work on this truck. I met a guy few weeks ago with 2 million miles on his 98-99 770 and the engine has not been opened yet, so yeah, definitely go for it especially if it does not have rust.
I scale 34500 with 200 gallon tanks and dry van trailer

 

I scale at 32000 with a trailer emity they ride real smooth and quiet.

 

I know this might sound stupid but what is regular Volvo maintenance besides PM? Like replacing certain parts around recommended mileages. How often do you need to replace parts to keep something from becoming a major issue? Thanks

 

Take care of it right away as soon as it becomes a little problem like if you have a small air leak fix it right away or it will become a bigger problem.
