    First week of school is done started backing today did good the only time i got flusterd was when the instructor was in my right ear making me all catawompas other then that i feel i did good start ally docking on monday cant wait :biggrin_2554:

    why was the instructor in the truck w/ you? hes suppose to be spotting and giving advice from the driver side window.

    Pretty much yea smokey is right the instructor shouldn't be in the truck with you. Just remember to breathe when you back and alley dock don't get flustered take your time no one is going to laugh you are all in school you are there to learn just pay attention and keep your head up enjoy the time you get because when you get that license then the work begins.

    thanks for the input i was doing good it was straight line backing i was between the cones and the instructor just grab the wheel for no reason i dont like his teaching methods so hopefully tommorrow i dont have to deal with him we start either 90 degree alley dock or offset tommorrow

    just dont get flustered, if you do just slow down and take deep breaths clear your head. why was the instructor in the cab with you? Like the others have said they normally spot and talk to you from the outside.
