Well I've made a year in the trucking industry.I started this journey with Werner. Got through the training and went on the DG account. After 7 months wasn't making any money (low miles and not enough loads) went over to tankers w/CTL and started getting lots of miles and plenty of work.
I want to thank everyone on TTR for the good advice, humor, and life lessons shared on here.I realize I still have a lot to learn and the day i quit learning will be the day they throw the dirt over me.
To all the noobies coming in just take your time and listen to the older drivers out here. They have done been there and done that.
Just keep it SAFE and GOAL!
First year behind me

What do u mean not enough loads.Werner has all kinds of loads. If they would quit hireing so many ppl and let the ones already there have the loads, all the drivers would be getting excellent miles, less of a turn over rate and alot happier drivers.
LaBubba Thanks this. -
yeah dont listen to every old driver, just the ones who know what they're talking about.

Good to see CTL is treating you good, I spent some time at CCC back in the day, you don't hear a lot of good about Comcar but I didn't have too many issues, they were a pretty good bunch of folks.
