Fist new Truck Kenworth 2010 T660 C15 475, 521000 miles.

How can anyone appreciate how pretty it is if you don't sit still now and then?

 

My Grandson just picked up a 2007 PETE 387 from an O/O who is buying a new 398 has 500 CUMMINS 18 speed in it , should have it home here later today

 

Hope you get it for a good price. 387 for some reason dont hold their value. I think because they are based on the T2000 and that was a love it or hate it truck design.

I personally like the 387. Lots of room inside, the Pete dash is well laid out.

The carrier I am with has an 07 '386' with the 475hp ISX. In the 2 yrs I have been here the truck has had minimal issues. EGR and the turbo went out at 620k last year.

Your going to get as many different opinions and experiences here as there are trucks and different set ups for sale. Personally I think the ISX is a good motor. It will pull as good or better then a C15 and has probably the best Jake out there.

Do your research on the truck. Dont do a blind purchase over the phone. Follow your gut instinct. Proper maintenance and you should be fine. All engines and trucks will eventually need major repairs. We all roll the dice every day in that regard.

Dont believe the bs isx is a reliable pulling power machine been driving one since 2011 best motor nowadays in 4 years ive replaced one egr cooler and one egr valve and it will outpull any newer motor and most older ones including the all mighty 3406e 550 cat.
