Sure would, if you had any evidence of it beyond "they said in the 1970s".

 

Call me a liar if you like, I am not going to spend a moment going back trying to find the research.
My father was a professor at Berkeley at the time, so I was exposed to the science.

 

Obviously not a professor of climate science. Watch the video. It was a matter of magazines deliberately misrepresenting the science.

 

You can Google "1970's global cooling myth" and read all sorts of hysteria from renowned scientists of that time. It reads much the same as current hysteria the global warming religion preaches today.

I guess Tb0n3 doesn't understand the basic concept here of staying on topic. This thread sure as gone off the rails.

 

The topic was criticism of old, more polluting motors, being placed in new trucks to bypass environmental regulations. And there's a surprising number of people who don't believe the thousands of researchers confirming global warming. It seems fairly well on topic.

 

@Studebaker Hawk Yeah he should start his own thread somewhere else titled "Global Warming Theory" where he and others can discuss their religion while ignoring any and all evidence presented to the contrary.
