Fix a failed physical

I had a suprise physical the day after a weekend of drinking (new years). I failed my DOT physical and lost my job(there was no alcohol in my system, just mild shaking and the doctor freaked out). Now when I apply for another job the recruiter says no because I lost my job due to a failed physical. This mark is going to follow me everywhere I go. Any suggesions?

 

I was suppose to take my physical 2 weeks later but my company decided to give me my physical early. (there was no alcohol in my system, just mild shaking and the doctor freaked out)

 

The doctor noted on paper I failed because of alcohol abuse. But from now on Now 1 bad decision is ruining my life. I quit drinking and realize what I did wrong but right when I apply they ask me why I was fired, Its on my record and I have to tell them the truth.now I have to fix this.
