Yes sir they are. Recruiting confirmed this two weeks ago. Either you lease or team.

Up in Quincy, you may be solo.

If not now, perhaps in the next month or two..............

My wife and I run team for USX. We are getting between 4800 to 6000 miles a week. Our fleet manager gets us home whenever we ask. we stay out 5 to 6 weeks at a time but I am sure we could take home time more often if we wanted. You earn one day for every 6 days out. Policy says no more than 4 days home at a time but it is really up to your fleet manager. (build a great relationship with your FM) We also take a day here or there where we have friends or family. We do not lease but teams I have talked to who are leasing are generally happy.

Florida has always been difficult for truckers. I lived in Ocala when running with Swift and even upon getting time off down there under a load, it was hard to find a decent place to park a rig much south of there. Best to have a car and leave the rig at a florida or south georgia terminal to get home was my experience. Oh....and my rig was totally vandalized off Blanding road in Jax once in what appeared to be a normal shopping district (with holiday inn and steak and ale). Just bad luck I guess.
